Cassie's Graduation, Graduation Party, & Family Christmas

Back in early December, we took a quick weekend road trip down to Texas, for our oldest niece Cassie's college graduation in Texas. It took place at the lovely Perot theater, and it was a short and simple ceremony. We were so happy to be there to see her walk across the stage and get her well-earned diploma.

That night we went out to a Japanese restaurant for dinner. Adam, being a good sport, decided to try sushi. It did not go well for him, there was a few seconds of huge dismay on his face. Followed by him excusing himself to spit it out. HA.

The next day we threw Cassie a painting party as as her graduation party. We had a lot of fun panting howling wolves, and I think ours turned out pretty well. We had some fun photo booths props, good food, and played a fun a game. It all went so well!

We had such a nice little Christmas celebration that evening, everyone seemed to enjoy the gifts we got them. And we played many rounds of Disney trivia, and the "kids" ran out to shop with the gift cards we got them.

On our way out of town, we stopped and got whataburger for breakfast. I am ashamed to say, after all the time I've spent in Texas, I've never eaten at a whataburger. I will say the honey butter chicken biscuit is simply awesome.
