Brittany: I'm going to to the dishes tonight when it is cooler.
Adam: Oh I won’t make you do that, I was just teasing.
Brittany: I will do the glasses. I promised, and I keep my promises!
Adam: Well babe…now here’s the thing…in the past when you’ve done dishes they’ve not exactly been….well there were still spots and stuff left on the glasses. I’m trying to gently tell you that you are not very good at doing the dishes.
Brittany: But isn't it the try that counts?
Adam: Sometimes yes, but in this case no.
Quick Note: Adam always does the dishes, but I offered to do them the other day.
